WestCorp Management has acquired Houston's Steeples Apartments for $16 million from Venterra Realty, which was represented by
Teresa Guidotti Lowery,
Saul Keeton and
Lynn Stewart of
Colliers International's Houston office.
The 408-unit property is located at 2151 S. Kirkwood Rd. and contains a mixture of one, two and three-bedroom apartments in 32, two-story buildings. Built in 1977, the complex sits on 11.35 acres and was 93 percent occupied at the time of sale. Venterra purchased the property in 2002 for $12.78 million and has invested $1.5 million in renovations and upgrades.
Lowery is a principal with Colliers Houston where she specializes in multi-family and investment properties. She is a former marketing specialist with CB Richard Ellis, acquisitions analyst with Camden Property Trust and spent 13 years as a senior sales associate with a local apartment development company. She is a graduate of Purdue University.
Keeton joined Colliers in 2002 as a sales associate focusing on industrial properties and unimproved land. He now works directly with Lowery in the Multi-Family Advisory Group. He is the past president of St. Anne's Catholic Church and is a graduate of Trinity University, Ohio University and Rice University.
Stewart is an associate with Colliers and joined the company in 2002 after being the marketing director for Seattle-based Pinnacle Realty. She volunteers for the Christian Coalition is a graduate of the University of Illinois.
