1/15/2008Hendricks & Partners sells multi-family property in suburban Seattle
by The Seattle office of Hendricks & Partners negotiated the $38.2 million sale of the 382-unit Avante apartment complex in Kent, Wash. Hendricks & Partners Kenny Dudunakis represented both the buyer, Bellevue, Wash.-based The Longwell Company and seller, Bascom Centrestone Kent, LLC of San Francisco on the deal. This marks the second deal is as many months between Bascom and Longwell, as the two firms swapped the Timbers at Kenmore, a 163-unit apartment community in Kenmore, Wash. Dudunakis handled that deal as well. The Avante is located at 1610 W. James Place in Kent, Wash., a town of roughly 85,000, about 20 miles south of Seattle. It is comprised of 34 two-story buildings on 17 acres featuring a mix of studios, one and two-bedroom apartments. The seller recently completed extensive renovations to the interiors, exteriors, landscaping and parking lots. Address: 1610 W. James Pl., Kent, Wash.
