A development site that once featured the historic Marboro Movie Theater in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn has been placed on the market.
Massey Knakal Realty Services has been hired to market and the sell the site.
The firm's
Jeffrey Shalom will be representing the seller in the offering.
The site is located at 6817 Bay Parkway at the southeast corner of Bay Parkway and West 10th Street. The Marboro Movie Theater occupied the space from 1927 until it was closed in 2002 by United Artists Theatres. It was demolished in May 2007.
According to Shalom, the site has the potential for one of the largest buildings in southern Brooklyn thanks to flexible zoning with commercial, residential and community use potential.
Shalom is Massey Knakal's director of sales for the East Bensonhurst, Cropsey and West Gravesend markets. He joined the firm's Brooklyn office in September 2005 and is a graduate of New York University's School of Business.
