CIP Real Estate adds new VP, opens Charlotte office

Irvine, Calif.-based CIP Real Estate has hired Jared Rogers as its VP and regional director of the firm's newly opened Charlotte, N.C., office where he will be responsible for sourcing new acquisitions and managing the firm's Southeastern portfolio.

Rogers comes to CIP from California-based Buchanan Street Partners where he was a partner. While at Buchanan, he represented CIP in the acquisition and development of its real estate portfolio.

CIP recently entered the Charlotte market with the $12.32 million purchase of the Interstate Business Park. In a deal brokered by CB Richard Ellis' Ryan Clutter, CIP entered into a joint venture with Baltimore, Md.-based Alex Brown Realty to acquire the 162,000 square foot office park.
