5/12/2008Cloverleaf Group inks deal for Illinois retail center
by Northbrook, Ill.-based the Cloverleaf Group has purchased the West Aurora Plaza in Aurora for an undisclosed amount from Arnold Lies Co. The seller was represented by George Good and Christian Williams of CB Richard Ellis. West Aurora Plaza is located at 1901-1961 West Galena Blvd. It is comprised of six buildings with 21 units and was 88 percent occupied at the time of sale. It is anchored by Wal Mart and is leased by other tenants including Sally Beauty Supply, Hallmark and Auto Zone. The retail site has an assessed value of $2.14 million, according to Kane County tax records. Good is an executive VP with CBRE's Oak Brook office and has been with the firm sine 1978. He was promoted to VP in the corporate services group in 1988 and was named an "Investment Team of the Year Finalist" by the Chicago Sun-Times in 1999, 2003 and 2004. Williams is an associate with CBRE and is a partner on the firm's shopping center investment team in Chicago.
