Hamline University inks deal for 33,000 sf in suburban Minneapolis


1600 Tower
St. Paul, Minn.-based Hamline University has signed a 10-year deal to lease 33,000 square feet at the 1600 Tower in the Minneapolis suburb of St. Louis Park.

Kevin O'Neill and Mike Gelfman of NAI Welsh represented Hamline while Darryle Henry of Duke Realty represented the landlord.

Built in 2000, the nine-story building is located at 1600 S. Utica Ave. and will serve as a Twin Cities campus for graduate and M.B.A. programs. Hamline plans to open the building to student this fall.

O'Neill is a senior VP with NAI Welsh and specializes in owner and tenant representation in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities metro area. He is a graduate of Notre Dame University and the University of Minnesota.
