9/8/2008AEW Capital sells Florida retail center for $37.9M
by Eric RamsdenBoston, Mass.-based AEW Capital Management has sold the Courtyard Shops at Wellington in the West Palm Beach suburb of Wellington, Fla., for $37.9 million to Federal Realty Investment Trust. The deal was brokered by Danny Finkle, Manny de Zárraga and Luis Castillo of the Miami office of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler. The Courtyard Shops is anchored by a Publix and is located at 13880 Wellington Trace. Constructed in 1990, it contains 127,000 square feet and is currently occupied by tenants such as IHOP, Bank of America, McDonald's, Washington Mutual, Wachovia and Shell Oil.
