Hampshire makes industrial acquisition on behalf of its investment fund


The Hampshire Cos. has made another acquisition on behalf of its $350 million investment fund with the purchase of a single-story industrial building in Springfield, N.J., for an undisclosed price from RFB Realty Corp.

The building is located at 21 Fadem Road and contains 122,599 square feet. It sits near US Route 22 and the Garden State parkway and can be divided into smaller units to accommodate several industrial tenants.

The building was purchased on behalf of the Hampshire Partners Fund, VII, a $350 million institutional real estate fund.

"The property's excellent location, along with the option to divide the space in a variety of ways for multiple uses makes this an ideal home for a wide range of tenants," said Todd Anderson, senior investment manager of The Hampshire Cos. "Hampshire remains committed to providing New Jersey's industrial community with high quality, well located space."
