Massey Knakal promotes three


Mr. Burton
Massey Knakal Realty Services has promoted Robert Burton, Ken Freeman and Paul Smadbeck to senior vice president of sales, the highest recognition level bestowed at the firm.

Burton, with the firm for 12 years, has closed over $360 million in sales, including 142-144 Greene Street, 224 Mulberry Street, 420 West Broadway (DKNY space), the Yorkville Portfolio and the Bowery pieces at 180 Bowery & 231 Bowery (New Museum).

Freeman has been with the Brooklyn office since 2003, where he has closed over 70 transactions, totaling over 650,000 square feet of existing buildings and 250,000 square feet of buildable space to be developed in Park Slope.

Smadbeck joined the Manhattan office in 2002, specializing in the Upper West Side, where he closed 48 transactions totaling over $500 million in sales.
