Gottesman Real Estate acquires Old Mill Plaza

Livingston, N.J.-based Gottesman Real Estate Partners has purchased the Old Mill Plaza in Sea Girt, N.J., from New York City-based Sitt Asset Management.

The deal was brokered by Bill Lenaz of R.J. Brunelli & Co., Inc. and Gregg Nowell and Chris Santoro of Sitar Company.

CB Richard Ellis has been tapped to manage the property.

Old Mill Plaza is a 52,000 square foot building that features a mix of retail and professional office space. It is located at 2100 Highway 35 and is currently leased by tenants including Century 21, Shore Spine & Sport, Ralph's Ices, Weight Watchers, Wings Gym, Vicki's Nails, Old Mill Travel, Marcotte Distinctive Catering, Mane Thing Salon and Quickie Print. Gottesman is planning significant upgrades to the property.

Nowell is a senior VP with Sitar and has been with the firm since 1995. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware and is a member of the TriState Commercial & Industrial Association of Realtors.

Santoro is a sales associate and joined the company in Summer 2003. He specializes in commercial office leasing in Central New Jersey and is a graduate of Marist College.
